Calming Cards

Teaching your child emotional regulation techniques helps them develop the skills they need to recover from their most challenging emotions.

Calming Cards are designed to introduce you and your child to calming techniques.

Calming strategies include Deep Breathing, Muscle Relaxation, Grounding, Visualisation, Yoga and Mindfulness.

Calming Cards can be used in a variety of contexts, including:

• A calming corner (or calming space) in your home
• Out and about
• Calming activities before bed
• Classrooms
• Day Care Centres
